Some Useful Tips:

1. If you have problems uploading a plugin via your wordpress admin area due to incorrect path then check the Settings > Miscellaneous section and enter the correct path where you want to upload files.

2. Before you go live with your blog be sure to check all the sub-sections under Settings.

3. When you visit your blog, click on all links to make sure all go to the correct page.
